Job Summary:
The Executive Sales Assistant, Events & Venue Partnerships will report to the VP, Events & Venue Partnerships and will be responsible for supporting the sales and operations efforts of the iHeartRadio National Tentpole Events, Theaters, Signature Programs & Custom Events.
Responsibilities:
• Assist VP and two other roles within department for travel, expenses, calendar management, client entertainment, etc
• Collaborate with cornerstone departments and cross functional teams to support sponsorship sales efforts across national & market level
• Own inventory management to track partner ticketing and unique assets across all events through internal inventory system and provide weekly updates to key teams
• Aggregate team guest lists for tentpole events, theater shows & key industry events
• Maintain current knowledge of sponsorship industry landscape, market trends and key category activity across music, sports & entertainment
• Support team to ensure sales efforts are in line with standard operating procedures to secure new business and upsell existing partners within First Right of Refusal window
• Assist VP and leads with special projects as needed
• Lead sponsorship account segmentation to generate event specific target lists for Events & Venue Partnerships team
Qualifications:
• Minimum entry level-2 years of relevant experience with an interest and knowledge of event sales, sponsorship and media
• Professional presence, astute business sense and demonstrated ability of interacting with Management across key departments
• Solution oriented, highly motivated and proactive self-starter who works well as both team member and individual contributor
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while balancing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional oral, written, and verbal presentation skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
