Responsibilities
The Assistant to the Vice Presidents of Brand Marketing (2) will multi-task, interact and coordinate across multiple departments within Universal Pictures and various divisions across the Studio while fulfilling all assistant duties. On a daily basis, the individual in this position will be someone that can take initiative with minimal direction, have the ability to seek out information from various sources and have exceptional follow through.
Job Duties
Overall Administrative Duties
The position will report into two VPs of Brand Marketing.
Schedule and coordinate various meetings including filmmaker meeting, staff meetings , cross-divisional meetings, etc.
Administer clerical duties such as correspondence, calendar, travel and expenses, multi-tasking, filing and covering phones
Essential Job Functions
Work with Brand Marketing team to assist in the gathering and compiling of research and data.
Interact with the various divisions to gain knowledge of their individual needs pertaining to the brand management of a film. Coordinate amongst the divisions on special requests, issues and brand extensions.
Maintain and archive marketing materials, presentations, production assets, etc.
Help coordinate International Brand Directors travel, bi annual trips to the LA offices as well as various high-profile filmmaker and executive meetings.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the entertainment industry specifically brand marketing, promotions.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communications; or similar
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills
Self motivator with proactive attitude and detail orientation
Adept at working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
Strong written and communication skills
Capable of building and maintaining strong work relationships and work effectively across multiple divisions/departments.
Proficient in MicroSoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint , Keynote and Photoshop
