The Key Account Manager – Commercial Partnerships is responsible for setting the strategic direction for new and existing company partners. A key focus of this ‘hands on’ role will include identifying new opportunities for partners and continually seeking new initiatives. The commercial team is fast paced, and requires a well-organised person to stay on top of the exciting and ever changing workload. This role is strongly focused on digital media partnerships and therefore a comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape and reporting metrics is imperative.
Responsibilities:
• Overall day to day management of Ticketmaster Australia and New Zealand’s key commercial partnership accounts.
• Develop plans which help ensure smooth delivery of contractual obligations for each partnership within agreed timelines
• Be the central contact for key commercial account partners on a day-to-day basis, and the first point of call for key partner assistance and problem solving.
• Provide ongoing monitoring and reporting of key outcomes delivered against contractual obligations and provide appropriate documentation when required
• Provide leadership with identifying new ideas and opportunities which helps provide continuous improvement in meeting and exceeding partner expectations, objectives and commercial benefits
• Work closely with the Commercial Coordinator to set up and coordinate digital media campaigns specific to each partnership, and proof all materials which feature partner names or logos for correct usage
• Assist with the creation of partnership proposals, attend sales presentations to existing and prospective partners as requested
• Attend regular meetings with partners, report results, and action any feedback or requirements that may eventuate.
Key Selection Criteria:
• An understanding of the key concepts, products and processes of the digital media.
• Proven experience with HTML and a variety of eCommerce products such as Exact Target, Omniture and Google Analytics.
• Highly developed oral and written communication.
• A understanding of sponsorship and partnership development
• Proactive preparation & execution of short and long term strategic plans
• Excellent organisation and project management skills
• Proven time management skills and ability to manage multiple stake holders
• Superior planning skills with a high attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator preferred
• A strong understanding of online advertising language and technology
• Ability to work effectively on an individual basis and within a team framework
• Experience in the live entertainment and ticketing industries is preferred
