Position Description
The Digital Ad Solutions Manager(full-time, salaried, regular) will be responsible for the following essential duties and responsibilities but not limited to:
• Work closely with Sales and Product teams to create new and innovative advertising products and incentives and provide revenue impact analysis.
• Create new process and documentation, develop a rollout plan, and conduct training sessions for all teams on new ad product implementation and/or troubleshooting.
• Serve as an escalation point for ad related issues including standard IAB, custom execution, 3rd party, rich media, and pre-roll video.
• Manage and administer a robust issue tracking system including the distribution of resources and statistical analysis.
• Work directly with Ad Ops, Sales, and company VPs to assess vendor partnerships based on data analytics and issue tracking results.
• Work closely with Development and Engineering teams to make necessary page and product template adjustments to support new and revised ad products, as well as communicate ad issues in a technical and business manner.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry-specific organizations (i.e. IAB, MRC, IAS) and leverage these resources for best practices, policies, and certifications.
• Work with a variety of teams, both internally and externally, to investigate advertising and marketing technologies/processes/policies to keep TEN current with industry trends.
• Serve as first point of contact for technical support to internal sales teams and second point of contact for creative agencies and 3rd party ad servers.
• Create 3rd and 4th party vendor assessment/certification documents and processes while working with the Legal Department to get the necessary contracts and agreements written up accordingly.
• Develop a number of strategies for new processes concerning the recent industry acceptance of “viewable impressions” as well as impression verification technology being used by vendors and agencies.
• Manage process and documentation of the Order Entry team.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3 years of proven experience within and ad operations role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Have rich media, creative solutions, and ad operations background.
• Deep understanding of online ad operations, trafficking, 4th party vendors, and performance.
• Experience trafficking ads in DFP.
• Preferred background in Project Management.
• Basic knowledge of JS/HTML a plus.
• Exemplary verbal, written communication and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently; initiate own projects as needed to streamline workload; understand the business process and work in a team environment.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines; working after hours to meet proposal and project deadlines if needed.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Learns quickly, asks questions, wants to understand their responsibilities and the industry.
