Assistant Account Managers help coordinate the execution of campaigns/projects and provide general support to the account service team(s). They maintain daily/weekly status, organize team meetings, produce conference reports, execute and manage aspects of creative development and production projects, learn VML processes and become familiar with agency documentation, understanding the purpose of each document and when to use it, and more. The Assistant Account Manager is an entry-level role in Account Management and works closely with the Account Manager and Senior Account Manager.
The Assistant Account Manager will gain direct experience in working with cross-functional teams to understand and address business and campaign needs while developing key skills in client-engagement, problem solving, and communications.The idea is that someone looking at an AAM role wants experience and opportunities to improve on and learn key skills.
Accountabilities:
• Responsible for taking accurate meeting notes, capturing action items, and transferring actions to weekly status as appropriate.
• Tracks revisions to jobs and ensures information is documented and communicated to team members.
• Maintains/updates weekly status report.
• Schedules and coordinates client meetings.
• Assists with development and editing of business documents.
• Assists in entry-level financial activities, such as drafting scopes and preparing filling for review with supervisor.
• Ensures collaboration sites are kept current.
• Researches client business to begin building self-knowledge of industry.
• Participation in key client meetings including status meetings and others as needed/directed by supervisor

Required Experience:
• Has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
