Description
Day To Day Responsibilities
Metrics
• Conduct and drive analytical support for: pipeline management, rep performance management and insights, bottoms-up forecasting, hub and channel analytics, sales cycle, territory alignment, and other key business related activities
• Supply business owners with information and analyses, providing them with the insights they need to assess and improve business results and drive accountability
• Support pipeline and forecast data reviews with Finance business partners and sales leadership
• Measure and track effectiveness of sales campaigns. Work closely with field marketing to continually develop improved campaigns and supporting sales toolkits
• Identify and measure baseline metrics that will be used to inform prioritization decisions.
• Provide visibility into performance of sales teams and recommend actions based on results
• Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommend revisions to existing reports and assist in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
• Contribute data and insights to support accurate and timely compensation payments
• Perform routine data management tasks to support continuous campaign management
• Ensure data integrity – troubleshoot data discrepancies and work to find resolution
Process
• Articulate the impact of process inefficiencies and contribute to the design of the holistic, end-to-end solutions (Lead to Order) leveraging the appropriate technology
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the overall operational processes
• Understand business needs from stakeholders in order to drive functional requirements.
• Collaborate with Training and Enablement organization to plan and deploy effective sales-user training and ensure successful change management.
Planning
• Partner closely with sales leadership to coordinate key meetings & off-sites and develop executive level presentations
• Understand what makes a good territory. Support ongoing territory planning, design, and optimization
• Contribute data and insights to support well-designed compensation plans.

Desired Skills and Experience
• BA/BS or MS degree in an appropriate field or equivalent
• 3-5+ years in a high tech environment (SaaS preferred), with a minimum of 2 years in Sales Operations or Finance supporting sales or other functional group. Finance background a plus
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required; experience with BI tools, Tableau preferred and knowledge of SFDC
• Affinity to tell a story with numbers
• Strong sense of curiosity – willingness to expand your boundaries and seek out more information and new capabilities.
• Strong business process, problem solving and analysis skills
