Role Overview
EA is looking for a highly motivated HR professional to join its dynamic HR team supporting the Finance organization. Our objective is very simple – engage our greatest strategic asset (our people) to create a high-performing culture where Finance employees will come to grow and do the best work of their careers.
To be successful in this role, you need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with change, in addition to the ambiguity that sometimes comes with it. You need to be enthusiastic, flexible in your approach and open to learning. This role requires strong collaboration with business and HR leaders, other HRBPs and various members of the HR COE teams to implement and deliver HR solutions for a client group of approximately 400+ employees, including VP level leaders.
This is a strategic and demanding role in a very exciting, innovative and cutting-edge industry. As a vital member of the business and HR community, you will be responsible for driving numerous key initiatives.
Key Focus Areas
• Partner closely with managers and business leaders to identify, develop, and implement both short-term and long-term talent strategies that are designed to ensure the realization of business unit goals.
• Build organizational capability through organization design, change management, coaching, and by partnering with HR COEs to identify and implement programs to support the needs of the business
• Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and engagement
• Provide coaching and create development programs to build leadership and managerial capabilities
• Partner with management to clearly identify and define key change initiatives within Finance
• Work in partnership with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to determine talent talent acquisition strategy and execution plan based on business needs
• Coach management and employees through ongoing development and career planning discussions
• Analyze HR metrics and provide reports as required to support management decision making.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 or more years’ Human Resources Business Partner experience in a progressive environment
• Strong business acumen - able to frame HR initiatives in a business context. Insightful about how people will be affected as a result of business decisions.
• Able to work cross-functionally and globally in a matrixed organization in order to execute against HR priorities and business strategies
• Able to manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence decision making process
• Confident written and verbal communicator, with executive presence
• Strong HR consulting skills with the ability to influence and coach employees across all levels within the organization
• Project management and implementation experience
• Strong independent thinker that can provide strategic thought leadership
• Excellent at building and managing relationships across the organization - with leaders, peers, and partners.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Able to quickly and methodically work through complex problems, form an opinion, develop solutions, set priorities and execute on commitments.
• Bachelor’s Degree required
