Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator works directly with the Marketing Solutions team in the development of sales presentations and marketing & communications materials to drive corporate marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Marketing Manager(s) and Sales Executives to fulfill requests that include gathering information on market trends, new business opportunities, competitive media spending, demographic/ psycho-graphic consumer profiles, media planning efficiencies, etc.
• Work directly with Marketing Manager(s) and Art Directors in creating custom client presentations & materials for sales use.
• Maintain all corporate branding and style guides.
• Help research market statistics in support of advertising campaigns.
• Communicate with other departments to attain campaign examples, photos and research data.
• Coordinate administrative tasks related to marketing.
• Participates in company training, safety meetings and other meetings and events as directed.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1 year minimum experience in Marketing, Advertising Design and/or an Advertising Agency related work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Competent in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
Additional Qualifications:
• Passion for advertising and a strong interest in design.
• Enjoys working hard; is action oriented and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging.
• Understanding of advertising media, sales positioning and/or media resources.
• Able to prepare comprehensive and persuasive marketing materials and presentations.
• Can collect and maintain the integrity of research information and complex data.
• Strong attention to detail, solid time management skills and the ability to multi-task / prioritize.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly assess problems and find effective solutions.
• Dealing with Ambiguity. Can effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture.
• Able to complete required math calculations (e.g, multiply, divide, rate, ratio, percent, produce / interpret bar graphs).
• Prefer experience with both Mac and PC platforms.
