Description
Yahoo! is looking for a dynamic, strategic, savvy Media Sales Professional to join our team. This role will primarily be responsible for the generation and growth of online advertising and revenue for Yahoo! Inc.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in online media sales with an emphasis on programmatic buying. We're looking for an energetic self-starter who is very familiar with the exchange space and has a deep understanding of ad networks, Trading Desks, and DSP’s. We’re looking for someone who is results-driven, has strong analytical skills and has experience managing strategic relationships.
Responsibilities
• Develop custom client solutions utilizing Yahoo!’s entire suite of products including Graphical, Video, Programmatic and Performance marketing
• Quarterback a cross functional Account team and serve as the main contact for our clients and agency partners
• Develop strategic plan to achieve target revenue goals; hit or exceed these revenue goals
• Partner with clients to understand strategic needs and deliver Yahoo! resources to meet not only advertising needs, but overarching business needs
• Understand and effectively communicate Yahoo’s value proposition, ad technology, processes, and partnerships as they relate to the growth of current and prospective client accounts
• Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting these to the organization; report on the macro and micro forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the digital media industry including developing innovations in mobile, native, and emerging media platforms
Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in media industry, advertising agency role or senior seller role
• Demonstrated partnership with large clients with a passion for customer focus. Proven track record as a trusted adviser to clients
• Deep understanding of the digital media industry with ability to credibly articulate strategic insights for clients that are based on data/research
• Strong skills in solution development and an ability to produce client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions that improve/accelerate client campaigns
