We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analystwho is a business partner to a large technology focused product development organization. You will be responsible for planning, reporting, metrics development, cost containment and analysis of financial results. In this role you will generate management reports, analyze financial trends, and team with business partners to identify opportunities, risks and cost savings opportunities.
Position located at our Chandler, Arizona site.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Annual operating expense budgeting
• Quarterly operating expense forecasting
• Monthly reporting and variance analysis
• Provide standard and ad-hoc analysis and reporting
• Provide analysis and financial support to leadership to achieve goals
• Month end close activities, such as accruals and expense reclass activities
• Identify risks and opportunities
• Internal and external labor analysis and reconciliation
• Purchase Order and Statement of Work process and approvals
• Ensure accurate time and labor reporting
• Labor capitalization rates analysis
Qualifications
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities to be Successful in this Role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance
• Must have Excel spreadsheet modeling in addition to having a broad range of analytical and modeling skills
• Experience with Oracle is a plus!
• Comprehension of operating expenses and project accounting
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines
• Able to partner in a matrix organization with ease, working in and influencing a multi-functional team; ability to be productive member of a team
• Strong listening, and oral/written communications skills; solid collaboration skills
• Excellent time management
