Twitter is looking for an experienced and talented product manager to help grow our video ecosystem on the platform. Video is a big area of investment for Twitter and you will own some of our most strategic bets - live video monetization, publisher content monetization, and digital creator incentives.
Who we are:
The Video Monetization team’s core mission is to grow Twitter’s video footprint by incentivizing video creators to publish content on Twitter. We provide ways for these publishers to generate revenue and build a business out of distributing their content on our platform. The products that we build touch all facets of our video ecosystem, including content publishers, advertisers, and end users.
What you’ll do:
• Research and synthesize the needs of premium publishers (sports leagues, TV broadcasters, etc.) and emerging creators interested in distributing and monetizing their video content on Twitter.
• Be the internal champion for your product area and articulate your vision to internal and external partners.
• Develop a compelling vision and strategic product roadmap for our video monetization offerings.
• Drive partnership discussions and integrations with our strategic content partners.
• Lead a cross-functional team of engineering, design, product marketing, sales, and content partnerships to build amazing products for our video publishers.
• Develop empathy for the needs of Twitter’s video publishers and a compelling vision for how to address them.
Who you are:
• A track record of building great products.
• Experience working with designers to create useful, usable, beautiful, delightful products
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong quantitative background to support data-informed decision making
• Demonstrated experience working with and knowledge of consumer behaviors.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Passion for video, technology, and social platforms preferred.
• Ability to think strategically and craft a compelling vision.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years product management experience.
• Experience with developing publisher and advertiser-facing products at scale.
• Prior experience with video and digital media a strong plus.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field is ideal.
