DESCRIPTION:
• Prepare and review pilot and pattern budgets for assigned projects
• Maintain accurate budget templates for multiple shooting locations
• Review weekly costs (EFC’s) and prepare weekly Cost Status Report for assigned projects
• Manage daily production accounting responsibilities for assigned productions, including:
• Review and approval of transactions exceeding policy limits
• Review trial balances and approve weekly petty cash reconciliations
• Review and approve monthly cash forecast
• Recruit, hire and manage freelance production accountants
• Review and update Production Accounting Policies and Procedures
• Perform location audits during production period on assigned projects
• Coordinate corporate internal audits of assigned productions
• Provide financial support to Production Executives and other CBS departments (Business Affairs/Legal/Labor)
• Coordinate financial terms of co-productions
• Manage estimation, application, audit and collection of film tax incentives on assigned projects
• Manage and Track Insurance claims
• Take the lead on planning and support on special projects, including:
• Location Accounting System (Ease) Testing and Implementation
• Oversee and report on tax credit aging
• DPL coordination and assistance with implementation
• Provide financial support to other various special projects as business need arises
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a studio/show finance department with demonstrated growth
