U.S. News & World Report is looking for a self-starting analyst to lead efforts to identify, reach, and measure audiences for select advertising campaigns and content-led ad products. He or she will focus on distribution for branded content produced by U.S. News’s custom studio, BrandFuse. This analyst will lead measurement for assigned branded content products, proactively explore new amplification channels and serve as an agnostic resource on audience development for U.S. News’s advertising team. The best person for this job will enjoy a fast-paced environment and thrive on challenges and multitasking.
Duties Include:
• Craft, manage, and optimize distribution campaigns that deliver quality audience from on-site native placements, external social channels, and distribution networks for branded content and other content-led ad products.
• Create and develop strategic pricing plans for branded content, to ensure high margins.
• Work closely with Ad Operations to manage delivery of on-site native promotion, as well as ongoing reporting for advertising clients and internal teams. Collaborate on wrap reports that bring campaign success stories to life, share key performance learnings, and proactively pitch future programs informed by those key learnings.
• Lead and support research projects and create materials to help internal teams better understand audience trends.
• Advise production, design and social media teams on best practices for both onsite promotion and social media channels.
• Master analytics tools (Google Analytics, MOAT, internal dashboards, etc.) to provide valuable page performance insights for partners and internal teams.
• Support client relationships, including participating on client calls to discuss strategy and performance.
• Explore and proactively surface new distribution channels and social products
Qualifications:
• 2-plus years of related professional experience.
• Familiarity with and understanding of branded content, including the marketplace, regulations and best practices.
• Experience using CPV/CPC/CPM-based business models and paid social and search preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, with ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets
• Knowledge and experience with analytics tools
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and strong emotional intelligence
• Avid consumer of media, of all types

Work will be done on-site at our New York office near Wall Street.
