Responsibilities
The Senior Finance will be responsible for supporting the partnership between Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE) and Paramount reporting to the SVP Strategic Partnerships and working closely with the wider UPHE Finance Team, Universal Operating Companies (“OpCos”) and Paramount HQ.
Job Duties
Provide proactive financial insight, commentary and analysis to ensure that the Universal/Paramount international partnership is managed effectively and efficiently.
Manage the Paramount annual financial cycle on behalf of Universal and its OpCos to include budget, long range plan, forecasts, year-end pacing and consolidation; manage stretch targets.
Ensure efficient management & communication of all financial interfaces between Universal and Paramount (to include contract governance).
Establish & maintain proactive dialogue with OpCos about their performance versus budget/latest forecast (by product strata).
Communicate regular pacing updates to Universal & Paramount HQ teams.
Report on all relevant financial metrics, create dashboards for tracking performance and support the Senior Management Team with ad-hoc data and extensive in-depth financial analysis.
Maintain regular face-to-face communication with Paramount HQ about risks & opportunities impacting territory performance and escalate risks where appropriate.
Partner with SVP and OpCos to offer recommendations, support decision-making & provide guidance where necessary.
Share best practices across OpCos; recommend and lead process improvements liaising with IT if required.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or related field coupled with track record in partnering with business teams to drive results
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Strong computer skills and reporting skills

Prior home entertainment or packaged goods experience
Proven ability to build relationships and manage internal/external partnerships.
Ability to work across multiple functions and drive change
Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to present to Senior Executives both internally as well as with external partners
Self-starter & adaptable.
Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
Good working knowledge of systems (SAP, BW, BPC)
Knowledge of relevant accounting principles
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
