Who We Are:
Twitter’s Global Brand and Creative Studio is a team that builds, designs, explores, and champions the essence of Twitter in our marketing and communications. The Senior Art Director will oversee the visual expression of the brand in three key areas: product launches, major brand initiatives and campaigns, and core web properties. The position will report into the Creative Director of Global Brand and Creative Studio and be tasked to lead and develop innovative and creative design solutions for assigned brand projects in partnership with the consumer and business marketing global teams.

Twitter is seeking a world class Senior Art Director to help bring the Twitter brand to life. Visionary communications and iconic experiences are the key to connecting users and business customers to the magic of the brand. To accomplish this vision in dynamic and relevant ways, Twitter is assembling a team of the world's best marketers, strategists and creative innovators.
The Senior Art Director will work as an integral member to the Global Brand and Creative Studio team to deliver stories about our value proposition to the world.
Who You Are:
The Senior Art Director will work across a variety of mediums, including, but not limited to, Twitter’s platform, websites, videos, industry events, collateral, and immersive environments. He or she will have the opportunity to help create global brand guidelines for one of the world’s most visible brands, formulate concepts, and lead staff or contractors engaged in executing these high profile ideas.
• Develop concepts for Video/Print/Interactive media that reflect strategy, are appropriate for the brand’s personality, and are extremely creative.
• Deliver strategically sound, conceptually based, iconic experiences, and identify new opportunities for the Twitter Brand.
• Be a strategic partner to our product marketing, brand strategy, marketing strategy, events, vertical marketing, business marketing operations, consumer marketing, and other critical departments as required.
• Mentor and inspire a team of designers, producers, contractors, and UX designers.
• Lead external experience, design and production agencies.
• Maintain Twitter’s global business brand style and guidelines.
• Remains current on industry trends and technology.
Requirements:
• BA or MFA degree in Design or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience as a Senior Art Director, ACD or higher, at world-class creative agency leading digital creative for iconic global brands and an awe-inspiring portfolio of brand-defining interactive experiences.
• Experience leading and building teams and developing strong agency partnerships.
• A collaborative approach that fits with the Twitter culture.
• Experience establishing a brand’s voice, representing the promise of a brand to reinvent the advertising agency industry.
• Ability to press check and a solid understanding of photography, illustration, typography, editing, transfer, and shooting of marketing films.
• A breathtaking portfolio. You do amazing work. You make others do even better work. You live and breathe ideas (big, scary, delicious, and doable ones).
• Strong communications skills – written, oral, and good design aesthetics.
• A demonstrated ability to overcome challenging situations with integrity and enthusiasm.
