The Content Localization Coordinator will support the workflow for the creation of subtitles and audio dubs for all Netflix content. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extreme attention to detail, a passion for the film and television space, and extensive cultural curiosity. You will excel in this role if you derive satisfaction from large-scale tactical execution and checking all of the boxes before you leave each day.
Responsibilities:
• Effectively and efficiently support multiple large-scale projects in tandem and across a wide range of localization vendors and translators.
• Partner with the Content Localization Specialist to order and track the successful on-time delivery of all localized assets. Know when to escalate potential delays and other issues.
• Partner with the Quality Control team to track and triage issues with incoming localized assets.
• Schedule translation resources and vendors for projects that require fast turnarounds.
• Create Show Guides for licensed content.
• Create English template files in preparation for easy and flawless localization.
• Compile Music & Effects reports.
• Purchase order tracking and reconciliation.
• Advocate, understand, communicate, and exemplify the company's values
Requirements:
• Unflagging attention to detail fueled by a desire to execute and deliver flawlessly at an ever increasing scale and pace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in a foreign language is a plus.
• Prior experience in supporting media localization workflows and a passion for language and translation quality.
• Good familiarity with closed captioning, subtitling and common failures or technical challenges associated with the workflow.
• Highly analytical and able to get to the root cause of a problem.
• Adaptability and resiliency to quick changes in priorities, technology, tools and workflow.
