Job Description
Ubisoft Entertainment, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a temporary Project Manager. This person should be highly motivated and extremely well-organized. This person’s primary job is to manage the brand and cross functional projects and timelines for the 2017 launch of Assassins Creed, including retail marketing, digital marketing, public relations, events, media, and TV/trailer production projects from initiation through final delivery. The Project Manager be part of the Assassins Creed brand team and will report into the Brand Manager/Associate Director. He or she will collaborate closely and communicate with both internal and external contacts, working on projects of various scope.
The position is scheduled for up to 12 months.
Responsibilities:
• Proactively manage and own the flow of projects from initial concept to release by setting up project kickoffs, gathering information and assets as required, and obtaining required approvals as notified from time to time by UBISOFT.
• Ensure that projects are completed on strategy within the predetermined budget and on-schedule.
• Closely monitor and maintain daily status reports of projects and budgets; attend weekly brand team meetings at UBISOFT offices to facilitate creative reviews and update group on project status.
• Organize cross-functional activities and oversee distribution/collection of key information to UBISOFT teams including but not limited to creative, digital, promotions/partnerships, retail, PR and media.
• Collaborate with retail marketing, digital marketing, creative services and other UBISOFT departments and external partners as required, to develop packaging, audio/visual assets such as trailers, TV ads, print, and online materials.
• Serve as the main point of contact with UBISOFT’s internal creative services department and external agencies to coordinate schedules, budgets, and delivery of assets based on project specs.
• Help in the planning of trade and consumer shows and lead development of materials including promotional items, signage, etc.
• Work with UBISOFT’s legal, first party, and copy editing teams to arrange review and approval of all consumer facing assets.
• Ensure Canada and LATAM territories are up-to-date on latest asset delivery schedules and upcoming brand activities.
• Assist in the creation of Powerpoint presentations as needed.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years in a project management/marketing communications role in an advertising agency, design firm, in-house design department, or related marketing environment. Experience in trailer, TV or video production is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to persevere and find order in a fast paced environment with constantly changing variables.
• Strong, self-confident leader who motivates and builds trust with others both internally and externally
• General knowledge of production and creative terminology as it relates to print, tv, online, etc.
• Entertainment experience (gaming, movies, tv, etc.) and/or agency experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of creative software (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and project management software is a plus.
• Special consideration will be given to PMP trained
