OVERVIEW OF ROLE (Scope)
This position requires a social strategist, who can build and execute a social media plan as part of AMC’s larger marketing organization that delivers on the larger mission to foster and engage the fan community in creative ways.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop social strategy and media plans for AMC shows/communities to drive tune-in and user acquisition for AMC digital platforms
• Lead all aspects of large scale social media campaigns with the social agencies, including: microsites, social stunts, influencer programs and ongoing micro-content
• Head all aspects of community management, including partnering with the AMC brand creative team to establish the social voice of AMC’s slate of programming
• Partner with Marketing, Digital and CRM and AMC’s paid social agency to develop targeted paid social plans with corresponding customer messaging
• Serve as social center of excellence for all business units, including: digital sales, ad sales, and licensing
• Monitor sentiment to determine what community is talking about and feed that conversation Use social analytics to assess efficacy of message, audience and platform

QUALIFICATIONS(Required & Preferred)
• Min years of experience: 5-7 years in digital or social marketing; 7-10 years in marketing overall
• Technical experience: platform expertise and social analytics
• Degree and Certifications: BA
• Managerial experience: nimble and flexible enterprise thinker and doer
