WWE is seeking a highly polished, seasoned and distinct sales and operations leader to enhance WWE’s international sponsorship strategy and execute daily sales activity to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
• Reporting to the VP, International Sales & Partnerships, this position will work to identify prospects, help generate cultivation and solicitation strategies, and close deals
• Secure multi-regional and local sponsorship partners utilizing a range of WWE’s assets
• Work across the organization with Live Events, Consumer Products, Content Media Distribution, and Digital departments to conceptualize, develop and execute revenue generating opportunities
• Work with local/multi regional prospects to gain a clear understanding of their needs, and develop customized packages to win their business and acquire new revenues
• Work collaboratively with marketing staff and colleagues to create customized content or presentations as sales collateral for use in sponsorship presentations, in accordance with WWE’s branding, and other guidelines
• Conduct continuous prospecting and research across key markets and all platforms
• Present WWE’s brand to potential national/international sponsorship partners and develop an integrated, solution-driven approach to creating sponsorship packages
• Maintain accurate and updated records of all contacts and revenue projection pipeline of opportunities, highlighting all the prospecting, research, networking, outbound calls, and attendance at trade shows, conferences, events, and/or programs
• Coordinate and execute all activation requirements liaising with WWE International, Live Events, Marketing and Talent Relations for sponsorship packages
• Liaise with Domestic sponsorship team to share best practice
• Support VP, International Sales & Partnerships in developing and securing buy-in to P&L and on-going reporting
Qualifications
• At least 7+ years of international sponsorship and corporate partnership sales experience with a major cross-media international sports or entertainment company
• Firm understanding of cross platform; digital and partner/sponsor sales
• Awareness of and enthusiasm for general media, technology, entertainment, sports and platform trends
• Proven track record of revenue generation
• Strong presentation, influencing and leadership skills
• Target driven and goal oriented
• Existing sales relationships with international brands/advertisers/agencies, preferable
• Very strong communications (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Advanced negotiating skills
• Bachelor Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
• Able to travel for business (up to 25%)
• Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays
