Underpinning this ambition is Digital Supply Chain (DSC)‒engineering, operations and creative teams working in tandem to enable content creation and product innovation.
We are seeking an Associate to join the Technology Planning and Analysis (Tech FP&A) team to partner with DSC leaders. This role will challenge you to drive operational analytics, tackle key strategic questions and manage financial planning for critical engineering and operations areas. Ideally you will be passionate about technology, and well-versed in Hollywood, Silicon Valley and emerging markets in equal measure.
The position is based in Los Gatos. As your responsibilities grow, you will be traveling to collaborate with teams in Beverly Hills (2-3x per month).
WHERE YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT:
• Partner with functional leaders within DSC to structure complicated problems, develop hypotheses, mine data and deliver analytically-driven insights
• Create and manage financial/operational dashboards to monitor performance and to continually refine our scale-up strategy
• When the occasion calls for it, put on your product or project management hat to ensure sound execution of short term initiatives like pilots, feature roll-outs and new country launches
• Own the short and long term financial forecasts for DSC
YOU HAVE:
• High-quality analytical skills using advanced Excel and a willingness to independently learn analytic tools like Tableau and SQL
• Ability to independently explore and understand high volume datasets
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial metrics
• Ability to present and context switch between peer groups and senior level management
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
• 2+ years in a highly analytical and operational role
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, computer science or other relevant field that demonstrates quantitative competence
BONUS POINTS:
• Experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, PE/VC and/or operating experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or consumer internet
• Experience working as a business partner with technical teams
