Administrative Assistant I (Bentonville, Arkansas)
POSITION SUMMARY
Based in Bentonville, Arkansas, the role of the Administrative Assistant I is core to the success of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment remote executive leadership. They will have primary responsibility for a full range of administrative and office management duties including handling phone calls, calendaring and filing, meeting coordination, and handling correspondence. The ideal candidate will have amazing interpersonal and organizational skills an attitude of service and an aptitude for teamwork
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Administrative and Office Management Responsibilities:
• Use prescribed SPHE business tools to effectively manage and communicate internally.
• Handling phone calls
• Distributing and following-up on documents
• Scheduling and preparing for meetings and handling calendar
• Support local customer and internal meetings
• Managing document flow, including creating and maintaining files (electronic and hard copy)
• Processing expense reports
• Updating databases and lists
• Processing & tracking system payments
• Manage office supply purchases
• Word processing (composing and generating letters, memos, etc.)
• Proof reading and editing
• Organize telecommunication needs
• Entering deal information from deal memos into data & rights tracking system
• Be a key partner across all functional teams
• Other general administrative duties (processing mail, copying, etc.)
• Miscellaneous duties as required

Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an administrative assistant
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word etc.)
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize to ensure that all assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Must be able to meet deadlines
• Must be flexible – an ability to work well in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to much revision
• Common sense, dependability, discretion and attention to detail are required
• Must be a self-starter with a team-player attitude
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral (must have a professional and courteous demeanor)
