The VP Direct Sales & MDU Field Sales will drive results for Xfinity Communities by securing agreements with property management companies in the multi dwelling market segment and through the Direct Sales organization by driving sales of video, internet, phone and Xfinity Home products.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The VP will be report to the SVP of Channel Strategies in the Central Division office and will partner closely with our corporate and regional teams to drive results, build a winning sales culture and to build a positive customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop a strong leadership team responsible for driving sales in both the direct sales and MDU segments.
• Drive productivity, quality of sale and customer experience metrics to ensure that sales and quality targets are met or exceeded on a consistent basis.
• Drive change transformation and strategy execution. Oversee and provide direction for sales strategy.
• Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key property management contacts and leverage to drive business development.
• Ability to develop complex ROI models to drive new business opportunity and ensure execution delivers results.
• Build solid and consistent budgets and forecasts for sales, headcount, and quality metrics.
• Understand the operational processes and systems necessary to deliver a sales targets and an excellent customer experience.
• Partner with training group to foster meaningful training that drives maximum productivity for our agents
• Drive recruiting to ensure headcount targets are met and create an environment which drives down attrition
• Work closely with the division sales and marketing team and other division functional groups to develop execution strategy
• Partner with corporate and the regional teams to develop plans to deliver results, create a great place to work and drive the customer experience.

• Experience uncovering and fostering business opportunity to develop large scale mixed use programs that deliver ROI.
• Experience in both business to business and direct to consumer sales.
• Consistent track record of delivering sales results in a highly competitive environment.
• Great cross functional relationship skills. Ability to recruit, develop and retain top talent.
• Analytical, forecasting and budgeting skills with proven accuracy.
• Understanding of TV, internet, phone and home security products.
• Ability to position products against competitors to drive value propositions.
• Understanding of the Net Promotor System or similar quality rating tools

REQUIRED SKILLS EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred
10+ years in cable, telecom or related industries
Selling in a highly competitive environment and creative ability to find ways to compete Financial and business acumen with proven track record of delivering business results Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage all employees at all levels
