Role Scenario
At Shazam, we are lucky to partner with some of the biggest brands in the world from an advertising standpoint. We are looking for a new Head of Global Marketing Solutions to help us develop our advertising strategy.
With a strong background in advertising technologies, you will also have hands on experience with Fortune 500 advertisers and your finger on the pulse when it comes to trends, namely how ad products should be designed and packaged up.
You will be comfortable working with new technologies, providing feedback and influencing key business decisions. In return you will have the chance to take on a role that will afford you true autonomy and the chance to make your mark working as part of this exciting global brand.
Where Does The Role Sit?
Based in NYC, this role reports directly into our CRO but will collaborate broadly with the wider Sales team. There will be some travel required in this role.
What Will You Do?
• Identify and prioritize advertising solutions that map to advertiser branded content needs; aligning with Shazam’s overall strategy.
• Organize and oversee existing team of Integrated Marketing and Design teams in the US, with a dotted line oversight of the International team.
• Develop Sales and Marketing materials, define revenue models and pricing strategies to improve monetization. Lead the team that puts together custom ideas and programs for our largest advertisers.
• Become the subject matter expert and communicate solutions effectively and collaboratively across the wider business. Partner with Sales, Product and Engineering to implement changes.
• Be an integral part of B2B activations and events, overseeing all execution.
• Partner with Ad Product Sales, Sales Development and the Agency and Advertiser Development team to mature the client-agency feedback loop.
• Evolve relationship with the Sales Research team to understand the data and drop it into external facing decks.
• Continuously learn and update skills to keep pace with technological advances and the body of knowledge for this position (i.e. industry events, client meetings).
• Develop long term cadence and strategy for concepts and materials against Shazam tentpoles like Grammys, Brits, Superbowl.
• Develop and package new branded content ideas around Shazam data and live events.
Experience: Required
• 7 years experience in product management and product marketing.
• Develop sales materials for big strategic accounts.
• Able to take tech details and write them for clear sales documentation.
• Presentation skills.
• Business tech advertising.
• Early in career worked as an Account Manager or a Sales Planner/Campaign Manager.
• Good grasp of ad tech.
• Identify and prioritise Ad Solutions - looking for trends, being vocal on making suggestions.
• Working with design, having a good aesthetic eye. Develop decks and external facing materials.
• Big attention to detail, hands on, detail orientated.
