Position Description
The Marketing Manager, New Business Acquisition(full-time, salaried, regular) will be responsible for consumer acquisition marketing through multiple marketing channels including direct mail, inserts, email and events for over 40 brands and external clients; such as Motor Trend, Automobile, Hot Rod, Surfer, Powder and Sound and Vision. This role requires an understanding of direct marketing and consumer marketing. The following duties include, but not limited to:
• Oversee all new consumer acquisition efforts for several enthusiast media brands.
• Plan, implement and analyze new business promotions through multiple sources including: Direct Mail, Inserts, Email/Online, Events
• Develop new channels of consumer acquisition utilizing both internal marketing team as well as outside vendor management
• Coordinate with design, production and online teams to develop and produce multiple subscription campaigns annually
• Analyze acquisition channel performance to enhance profitability and recommend changes to improve performance
• Manage department budget and invoicing associated with all marketing efforts
• Provide regular reporting to business stake holders and management
• Utilize multiple databases and programs designed for managing processes, pulling data, and proofing marketing materials
• Supervise staff and report directly to Senior Group Marketing Manager
Education/Experience:
• 2-4 years of related work experience with a track record of success
• Undergraduate degree required.

• Highly analytical and creative; strong attention to detail required
• Critical thinking and diligence a must
• Ability to multi-task is important
• Solid Excel skills required
• Entrepreneurial, high-energy, high integrity personal style

• This individual must possess the sensibility to manage a direct marketing effort that is consistent with the tone, image, and price point that The Enthusiast Media commands from its readers and advertisers
• Publishing experience a plus but not required
Physical Requirements:
• The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen.
Equipment/Software Used:
• Microsoft Office Suite fluency, particularly in Excel.
Work Environment:
• Work is performed in an office environment that is well lit and ventilated.
