Comcast is growing an organization to lead Comcast into the wireless space with innovative services that completely rethink the end-to-end mobile experience. These services will leverage Comcast's 27M subscriber relationships, 15M+ WiFi hotspots, and pioneering X1 Entertainment Operating System to deliver one easy solution for connecting mobile devices and deliver new magical mobile experiences.
One of the pillars of our strategy is to transform the digital experience in wireless. We're starting fresh in a mature category with antiquated sales and service experiences, and we're designing every customer touch point with a digital mindset. Our ambition is to do to Wireless what Uber did to taxis and Amazon did to bricks-and-mortar retail.
As Executive Director, E-Commerce and Digital Marketing, you will be at the center of this transformation, owning marketing and sales in our digital channel. You will own and optimize the end-to-end digital sales funnel from traffic generation to sales transactions. You will identify and execute on innovations that produce bar none the easiest way to shop in the wireless industry. And your scientific approach will lead to state of the art techniques for digital targeting and test and learn.
Core Responsibilities:
• Develop and champion a vision and strategy to make Comcast THE wireless industry leader in e-commerce
• Manage, with full accountability, Wireless sales and revenue in our digital channel aligned with budget parameters and profitability goals
• Own and optimize the end-to end e-commerce funnel from traffic generation on third party digital properties to completed sales transactions.
• Develop and execute digital marketing plans to generate traffic from web, mobile, and social sources. Identify targets, and define promotions/messages and placements that yield maximum traffic.
• Manage paid search campaigns in collaboration with our internal SEM center of excellence, and work our development teams to optimize our site for SEO
• Manage promotions and merchandising on our site, and oversee our site production calendar to maximize online engagement.
• Hire, mentor, and develop a high performance team that moves at a start-up pace and delivers sales results over the short and long run.
• Relentlessly drive sales growth through innovative approaches and meticulous execution of improvements
• Develop rigorous test and learn methodologies to drive improvements across the entire conversion funnel
• Define all digital marketing and sales metrics, and be passionate about the health of those metrics on a day-to-day basis across the conversion funnel.
• Design and implement digital analytics systems and tools to track and optimize the sales experience across all digital interactions
• Develop and implement digital marketing technologies in collaboration with Comcast's core digital teams. Includes our CMS, user data platforms, and decision engines.
• Provide expertise on current industry best practices, and identify opportunities to apply to our business
Preferred Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree a plus
• 10+ years in digital product and/or marketing roles. 5+ years with accountability for revenue.
• Experience with early stage businesses or products, bringing first generation products/services to market
• Rare mix of intelligence, integrity, and verbal agility that allows you to earn the trust of business, product, and marketing teams across the company
• Excellent project management skills, with a record of successful project delivery on time, in line with budget expectations.
• Experience in hiring, managing, and developing world-class talent
