DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for assessing the credit risk of new clients, both domestic and international, by analyzing financial statements, D&B reports and various other sources of information
• Build and maintain relationships with global clients, sales departments, executives, Business Affairs, and other finance and accounting staff to:
• Collections of accounts receivable
• Resolve disputes with global clients regarding billing, payments, etc.
• Month-end reporting
• Perform reconciliations
• Understand and suggest improvements on daily business processes while improving internal controls
• Knowledge of letters of credit involving international banks is preferred, but not mandatory
• Ability to research and problem solve independently but also work with larger group on a daily basis
• Must be able to multitask
• Prepare ad hoc projects for management
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors degree required (accounting, finance or business)
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook
• Impromptu knowledge preferred, but not mandatory
• Minimum of 3 years of corporate finance and accounting experience, credit and collections experience preferred
Entertainment/Media experience preferred, but not mandatory
