Maintain optimal governance and configuration across an ecosystem of Workday HR and Financial tools to ensure data security, privacy and compliance, with minimal maintenance, while ensuring seamless impact to related business processes.
Work with security ecosystem (toolsets) to ensure highest possible security posture.
Responsibilities:
• Become subject matter expert for security configuration and related impact across an ecosystem of tools
• Design & implement a security governance structure and related configuration ensuring limited ongoing maintenance
• Maintain & improve the governance structure and configuration ongoing, including integration of new solutions
• Drive security & control automation through configuration to improve security posture and audit efficiency
• Ensure configuration provides compliance with data privacy rules & management controls
• Maintain effective methods to provide configuration evidence, including change auditing and approval capabilities
• Work closely with the VP Information Security to ensure governance and security requirements are met
• Liaison with Internal Audit for HR and Financial solutions
• Architect the security in financially significant applications to ensure compliance requirements are met
• Document and monitor segregation of duties in the financial ecosystems
• Monitor the addition and removal of users in finically significant applications
• Custom report creation for audit and security using Workday reporting tools
• Approve all security configuration requests in Workday by the business to ensure compliance
• Ensure we have no SOD violations within our SaaS applications
• Perform semi-annual reviews of both financial and HCM applications for SOD violations and User Access
• Be flexible enough to assist with both Security and Compliance issues that may arise
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired
• Workday experience preferred
• 5+ years of practical experience within the technology & security environment
• Security or technology industry certifications or training (e.g., SANS, CompTIA, Microsoft or similar)
• Solid experience in project support
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills
• Technical background, with understanding of concepts of compliance, confidentiality, integrity and availability, user authentication and authorization and segregation of duties
• Ability to weigh business needs against security concerns and articulate issues to the user community
• Ability to identify and analyze significant problems and opportunities
• Demonstrated ability understanding policies and regulatory requirements, specifically SOX
• Effectively performs duties and responsibilities with attention to detail and support for organizational policies
• Security analysis experience
