Position Overview
The wardrobe attendant position is primarily responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of employee uniforms. The wardrobe attendant distributes uniforms to event employees prior to the event, is responsible for inventory control of uniforms, jackets, flashlights, earplugs, and other employee equipment, and collects the uniforms from the employees post-event. The wardrobe attendant is also responsible for the mending and repair of uniforms in-between events.
Job Description
•Quickly and efficiently distribute uniforms to employees.
•Distribute flashlights, earplugs, jackets, and other equipment to employees as needed.
•Perform inventory control on all uniforms and equipment.
•Launder garments by use of industrial washers and dryers.
•Alter and mend garments as required.
•Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Designee.
Required Skills
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Able to stand for extended periods of time.
•Must be proactive in providing assistance to employees.
•Must have fundamental sewing skills.
•Must be able to lift and carry 20 lbs.
•Able to conduct repetitive, manual work.
•Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
•Must be able to work in a team environment, interacting with multiple departments.
•Understanding of written and spoken English.
