The Manager, HR Employee Services is responsible for all administrative human resources related activity in support of Lucasfilm and will be the liaison between Lucasfilm and Disney Global HR Operations/Workforce Planning and Studio Administration. This will include, but is not limited to, non-recruitment new hire process, SAP coordination, global mobility, leave of absence, workers compensation, report generation, orientations and local HR special programs. This role will perform other HR Generalist and related work as assigned and has two direct reports.
Provide leadership, motivation and mentoring to the HR Specialist team, ensuring that all global HR operations are functioning at a high level and supporting the business.
• Oversee initiation of HR actions to workforce planning and Disney Global HR Ops for SAP input
• Support on-boarding and off-boarding activities
• Troubleshoot data issues with internal systems to ensure data is flowing accurately to support production needs.
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees, managers and HRBPs.
• Support global offices with policy review and integration needs
• Fill report generation requests
• Manage data requests for legacy HR data
• Maintain HR administration workflow guidelines and procedures that outline the rules and processes that take place between Lucasfilm HR and all of our internal infrastructure teams and the enterprise shared service provider teams.
• Participate in Enterprise and Studio special projects and task force teams as assigned.
• Provide strategic HR data analysis to help HRBPs with their business unit objectives to generate new business or enhance existing operations
• Recommend process improvement/reengineering initiatives, integration (end-to-end) opportunities and process improvement initiatives for department administration
• Manage global mobility activities, acting as a liaison between business units and Disney Global Mobility.
• Provide counseling for departments, facilitate requests for estimates and set up of assignments with Global mobility.
• Provide advice and estimates to recruiting and hiring managers on appropriate level of relocation and facilitate the relocation authorization submission.
• Support US immigration activities.
• Oversee Leave of Absence and Workers Compensation programs in conjunction with Disney Global HR Ops and Disney Risk Management.
• Responsible for management of HR Special Programs, such as service awards, onsite banking, wellness events, onsite childcare, special discount programs, etc.
• Support Disney Benefits with onsite events such as Wellness Fair, biometric screenings, educational campaigns, commuter assistance.
Requirements:

Education / Experience:
• B.A. in HR-related field
• 5-7 years’ experience in an HR role, 2-3 years with direct reports
• Prior knowledge of human resources concepts, practices, legislation and procedures.
• Global Mobility or benefits experience a plus.
• Prior experience in a production environment a plus.
Technical Skills:
• Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Report writing experience a plus
• SAP experience a plus
