Reporting into the SAP Royalties IT group, the royalty analyst will be responsible to help manage two key areas:
Day to day operations
This role will look after day-to-day operations to make sure the production systems run smoothly and issues are addressed in a timely manner while working with our consulting partners.
IT projects
The second area will focus on working with project teams to implement new IT systems, new enhancements or system upgrades using the waterfall concept as well as agile.
This role will act as a liaison between the consulting partners and key business users throughout the project lifecycle - requirement gathering, blueprint, testing, implementation and hyper-care.
Technical Experience
• 3-6 years of SAP FICO experience. Must understand accounts payable and accounts receivable
• At least 1 SAP full life cycle implementation is required with a key role in system implementation
• Understand how integration between systems work including third party interfaces
• Preferred: Experience working with IT solutions in the media industry
Business Experience
• Understand how to translate business process to IT functional and technical requirements
• 4-6 years experience working in the IT department with users that run the business OR
• 6-8 years experience working in the finance/shared services performing day to day business functions
• Preferred: Financial background. Must understand basic accounting
• Preferred: Experience in a business model that manages royalties and copyright
Soft Skills
• Must have good communication skills, verbally articulate and a good listener
• Must be a team player, self-learner and problem solver
• Have strong work ethics, motivated and a self-starter
• Be able to prioritize tasks while working on multiple projects and have a flexible work schedule
Education
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• Or 2+ years equivalent training plus working experience
