Yahoo! is looking for a dynamic, strategic, savvy Media Sales Professional to join our Entertainment Sales Team. As a Yahoo! Account Director, you will work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for our entertainment and gaming clients. This is a fast-paced role, and we are looking for a highly motivated contributor to work with our performance-oriented team. Our Sales Team is smart, motivated, competitive and at the same time highly supportive of each other. A Lot About You
• You have a deep understanding of the digital landscape - preferably in the gaming and entertainment vertical
• You love data, content, and technology, and are capable of using it to tell a compelling story both internally and externally
• You are self-motivated, and find ways to exceed sales and revenue goals
• You have the ability to adapt to change quickly, handle volume, and multi-task
• You are a critical thinker with an eye for solutions
Your Day
• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams (account management, product, operations) to drive revenue growth with new and existing clients
• Develop high-level relationships to serve as a trusted consultant with major customers to optimize their advertising growth
• Generate strategic business plans to achieve target revenue goals; hit or exceed these revenue goals
• Understand and effectively communicate Yahoo’s value proposition, ad technology, processes, and partnerships as they relate to the growth of current and prospective client accounts
You Must Have
• Undergraduate degree in business or related field and 4-8 year of sales or related experience in digital media sales
• Proven track record of success, and impacting revenue growth through the development of long-term strategic relationships
• Be a student of Yahoo properties, products, and capabilities, and have knowledge of contemporary digital marketing tactics and strategy
