We’re looking for an Event Coordinator to join Team Snapchat! Working closely with the Sales and Marketing team, you will assist in developing Snapchat experiences at key industry events. Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with colleagues throughout the company, as well as external vendors to produce client-facing events.
What you’ll do:
• Schedule, execute, and coordinate event logistics, including invite management, contract negotiation, catering selection, etc.
• Research potential event venues and maintain relationships with vendors
• Manage event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
• Organize development and production of event-related materials and messaging
• Provide budget reports and track event-related expenses
What we’re looking for:
• BA/BS in event management, marketing, communications, or related field of study
• 1+ years experience within the events industry
• Experience supporting sales, marketing, and advertising initiatives
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and priorities in an ever-changing environment
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to creativity and design detail
• Someone fluent in Google applications, Apple applications, and the Microsoft Office Suite
• The flexibility to work hours outside a traditional workweek which may include nights or weekends
• A passion for Snapchat and creativity!
