Job Summary:
Supports the strategic development and packaging of new and existing digital ad products to create compelling stories & opportunities for national brand advertisers
THE ROLE
Director, Digital Marketing Solutions
This person will support the strategic development and packaging of new and existing digital ad products to create compelling stories & opportunities for national brand advertisers. He/she will work closely with the Sales, Monetization, Product, Programming, Research, and Marketing Solutions teams. Based in iHeartMedia’s NYC office, this person will report into the Digital Marketing Solutions Senior Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand the needs of advertisers across categories and use that knowledge to inform the creation of world class ad solutions including market positioning, product and/or programming franchises, 3rd party partnerships, & digital extensions to our iHeartRadio tentpole events.
• Work cross-departmentally to support go-to-market strategy & marketing materials for new digital product offerings (iHeartRadio programming, Marketing Solutions, Design, Research, and Sales teams).
• Lead & support sales roll-out and training for digital products and sponsorship packages
• Maintain the currency of long term product packaging and positioning
• Provide internal teams with consistent marketplace feedback to ensure ongoing product iteration & evolution
• Provide support for Client Solutions team in brainstorming brand-specific opportunities
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of 7+ years combined media sales, marketing solutions or advertising agency experience with at least 3 of those years in the online advertising space
• Ability to build strong relationships with partners and internal team members.
• Self-motivated, driven, organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment.
• An ability to manage challenging and complex projects, driving groups to collective business decisions
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Solid understanding of internet marketing, advertising sales, and consumer marketing; experience with both content and data/technology marketing a plus
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong PowerPoint skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
