Job Summary
| Major goals and objectives.
The Email Production Assistant is responsible for supporting the Email Production Manager in the successful execution of all email campaigns. This person will be responsible for the creation of calendars and schedules, updating process documentation as directed by the Email Production Manager or Quality/Process Manager, checking and assessing the correctness and timing of all assets at time of receipt for creation of email campaigns, and guiding the trafficking of all elements of an email campaign through development and deployment process. They will participate in all status meetings and ensure that they are helping to facilitate clear communication between the various team members throughout the entire email production process.

• Creates, maintains and distributes campaign calendars.
• Maintains status reports and summarizes daily deliverable snapshots.
• Participates in all status meetings and updates schedules and calendars appropriately.

• Checks all incoming assets at receipt for completion and correctness.
• Immediately identifies any issues, notifies the appropriate people and works with the team to make any required schedule changes after gauging the impact of the issue.

• Identifies conflicts, risks, delays or any other situations negatively impacting the campaign then takes proactive and effective steps to resolve these matters and/or obtain deadline extensions when necessary in an effort to limit disruption and keep campaigns on track.
10%
• Works with the Email Production Manager and Quality/Process Manager to enhance the workflows and project management process through the identification of opportunities for process improvement, formulation of recommendations, collaboration with key stakeholders, and the execution of initiatives.
• Provide additional QA support when needed.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
4 year degree, preferably in Advertising, Marketing or Business related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years previous Project management experience preferably in an email marketing or campaign management environment. Marketing agency experience highly preferred. Knowledge of HTML and ESP platforms is a plus.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to organize, schedule and time manage the workflow of several projects simultaneously.
Ability to think and problem-solve under pressure
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize and re-prioritize with limited direction
Excellent communication skills, orally and written
Proficient in MS Office programs including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Past experience providing exemplary service to internal or external clients
Must be able to work on tight deadlines and provide error free products
Must be self-motivated and the ability to deliver results with limited direction
