We're looking for an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to support our New York City and Washington, DC offices..
Here's the stuffy overview: The HR Generalist partners with the Associate Director of HR to plan, develop, direct and implement location specific HR services in support of business objectives, as well as manages all aspects of the HR function, and serves as a resource for employees and managers. This is a "hands on", detail oriented HR position. This position serves the Corporation's needs for compliance and MXM's HR needs to optimally conduct that aspect of its business. Primary customers are the GM, department heads, and Corporate HR management.
Here's the real deal on what you'll be doing:
-Attracting and acquiring best-in-class talent and getting them assimilated and on boarded. This is regular, impactful, and essential to this role.
-Implementing corporate driven as well as local programs to improve operating performance, career development, and morale.
-Serving as a local voice in support of your clients and recommending change to how we do things.
-Helping managers navigate the sometimes murky waters of local, state, and federal employment laws.
-Building relationships with internal peers in HR, communications, legal, and management.
-Tracking your progress and results with impactful KPIs.
-AND, ALL the other hats you wear as an HR professional.
You are not alone in these adventures. This position reports to the Associate Director of HR for MXM’s East Coast locations who also serves as a partner and collaborator.
What you'll need:
A 4-year degree in HR or related filed. At least 4 years of exempt level generalist experience preferably in the advertising, marketing, or PR space. This will need to include at least 2 years of extensive full cycle recruiting. PHR or SPHR certs highly preferred.

• Experience with HR Systems. Workday would be great. ADP's Virtual Edge, etime, and Enterprise would be cool too.
