DESCRIPTION:
TV Guide com has an immediate opening for an experienced Video Producer.
Our popular entertainment website seeks a full-time producer to oversee shooting, editing and publishing short-form video content for the web. We're looking for someone with an editorial eye who will work with the senior video producer to grow the video department creatively and increase traffic with entertaining content that appeals to a wide audience.
Shooting will include both in-studio interviews with talent and some on-the-scene red carpet events and other location shoots. In addition, the website periodically features more high-concept videos that will require the video producer to research and integrate B-roll footage.
The right candidate will know, for example, which TV shows have featured the greatest death scenes, and can appreciate both the sublime and the ridiculous aspects of a TV show like The Bachelor. Further, this person should always be aware of the latest trends on social media and the Internet.
The job requires someone who can both work well independently and in collaboration with our editorial staff.
Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience.
Interested candidates should submit a resume and a link to a reel that demonstrates the range of the candidate's experience.
