Job Description:
Our Transformation & Resiliency Solutions Group is growing and we are looking for talented, highly motivated Program Support Analysts to join our Information Planning and Management (IPM) line of business for a large, business analysis and management support services contract within a CIO organization. This position will be located at FDIC in Arlington, VA.
The ideal candidate will be an essential member of the Program Management Office (PMO) support team. They will focus on IT project and portfolio analysis, project/schedule data collection, reporting, customization, maintenance and dashboard development within the MS Project Server Tool and MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform IT project portfolio analysis, including reporting on risks, dependencies, and variances on cost, schedule and scope.
• Support Portfolio and Project Management by inputting schedule information, creating dashboards, views and reports in Microsoft Project Server system.
• Generate monthly, quarterly and annual reports for IT projects and portfolios via MS Excel and Project Server 2010 and 2013.
• Collect and consolidate financial and portfolio data from multiple Microsoft Excel spreadsheets across different groups for ultimate input and management into MS Project Server.
• Work with multiple IT Program Managers to collect necessary project and portfolio information on a daily basis.
• Identify and implement effective solutions and recommend improvements to data reports and dashboards within MS Excel and Project Server.
• Collaborate with MS Project Server technical specialist and team to perform adjustments in relation to any new requirements, such as: creating changes to templates, custom development, creating project detail pages, customize project team sites, reports, dashboards, work flows, and specific web parts.
• Collaborate with team to create custom solutions, based on technical and business guidelines, and strategic goals.
• Design and produce executive level dashboards from MS Project Server.
• Streamline monthly data submission and reporting processes and document.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server, Microsoft Project Professional 2010 and 2013, and Microsoft Excel 2013
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Project Server 2010 and/or 2013
• Experience working for government as a consultant or similar environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Experience with project Scheduling and executive dashboard development
Professional Skills/Experience:
• Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and outstanding level of professionalism in providing client support
• Solid oral communication skills, including experience with developing and delivering reports and dashboards
• Problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing, or potential problems and recommend solutions
• Solid computer skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio) and project management software (e.g., Primavera, or similar)
