In many cases, you will be the first impression for all prospects and customers encountered though our marketing efforts and play an instrumental role in bringing in new customers and customer leads!
Job Responsibilities
In this role you will:
• Handle simple sales opportunities through inbound and outbound phone calls, email, and chat.
• Walk prospects through the sign-up process, and deployment of Cloud products in Cloud Control Panel.
• Qualify and pass, or close opportunities based on size and complexity.
• Qualify incoming prospects to determine proper internal sales segment.
• Field technical discussions with prospects to assist sales reps in closing. Proactively engage prospects through outbound efforts.
• Make outbound calls including, but not limited to, nurture for sales segments, trade shows, and marketing campaign efforts.
• Meet and exceeds both direct and indirect revenue targets.
Required Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the qualification criteria for opportunities, with an understanding of escalation procedures.
• Broad knowledge of the Rackspace product line, with specialized knowledge of Public Cloud, and extensive email & apps solutions expertise.
• Knowledge of the Rules of Engagement for creating and passing leads using Salesforce.
• Basic pipeline management skills in Salesforce.
• Open to coaching, redirection, and continuous feedback.
• Excellent communication skills over the phone, and through email and chat.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadlines.
• Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups. Ability to provide FANATICAL support.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree required, prefer degree in business, marketing, or technology related field.
• 1+ years of sales experience, incorporating value/service selling required
• Roles supporting our LATAM customers require fluency reading, writing and speaking Portuguese and/or Spanish at a technical/business level.
