CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. DESCRIPTION:
The sports producer is responsible for all facets of producing the sportscast, including formatting, timing, writing and editing. This person will work with the entire sports department, news producers and assignment desk in producing sportscasts, and developing and covering stories.
The candidate must be extremely flexible in terms of schedule and hours, as this person's schedule will vary from week to week, and may require travel.
This person must have a proven track record of positive interaction with co-workers and must meet the highest standards that our community demands.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have experience working in a newsroom.
Must have experience line-producing sportscasts.
Must have a very strong knowledge of the Boston sports scene.
