At Snapchat, you’ll work alongside a small but gritty team that competes to find the best talent. Not the “best” in terms of an attractive resume, but the absolute best fit for where we’re at as a company, our culture, and the work that needs to be done.
This role isn’t about volume. It's about targeted executive search level of high touch for senior candidates. You’ll be working engineering priority roles & extremely specialised roles.

Your mission is to find humble, collaborative, razor-sharp industry leaders in software engineering to join our team. You should be an active Snapchat user who believes in our mission and who wants to leave your mark on the software industry by building the best tech company in the world.
What you’ll do:
• Provide full life cycle, high volume recruiting support for engineering
• Creatively source, evaluate, network, and hire top tier talent
• Vigilantly protect and improve Snapchat’s candidate experience
• Track hiring metrics with a baseball scout’s tenacity
Who we’re looking for:
• You have a deep talent network in senior engineering talent
• You have a proven and successful track record engaging, selling and recruiting the very best.
• You are not only a sourcing maven, who is able to find untapped talent outside traditional means (LinkedIn) but, more importantly you know how to rise above the noise and engage top talent with your personalized approach.
• You have experience recruiting for specialized roles
• You’ve sold hiring managers on candidates more times than you can count - you knew in your gut it was the right decision every time. You hate losing.
• You are deeply customer service driven and provide a high touch experience with candidates and hiring managers alike.
• You are analytical and understand the importance of tracking metrics. You’re driven not just by your individual metrics but always do what’s best for the team.
• You are organized, work with a strong sense of urgency and can quickly prioritize when presented with a list of all ‘top priority’ situations.
Desired Experience:
• BA/BS Degree required
• 4+ years of recruiting experience focused on engineers at technology start-ups
• Full life cycle recruiting experience in either/both agency and corporate setting
• Experience recruiting candidates who require relocation
