The Brand & Channel Discovery Strategist will support the WHERE team, and internal and external clients through channel research, syndicated tool support, and cross-channel measurement.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide research support to the Brand & Activation teams 40%
• Collaborate with rest of team on WHERE initiatives 10
• Analyze and apply data from various syndicated research software systems 20%
• Discuss the general media landscape and marketplace with Brand teams 15%
• Create and maintain dynamic presentations about trends in the media landscape 10%
• Write papers about media trends 5%
Requirements:
• 1-3 years in the media industry with some of that time spent at a media planning and buying agency, and experience with multiple media
• Knowledge of the media planning and buying process
• The desire to collaborate and work as a team
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Familiarity with Nielsen systems (NNTV, NPower) and competitive databases (Kantar, Monitor Plus)
• Good writing skills; experience writing short articles/papers
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office- Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good presentation skills
• Knowledge of the general media landscape, especially Television
• Be detail-oriented
