The Tel-Sell Manager will plan, organize, direct and control the activities of the assigned Tel-Sell Representatives (TSRs). Will report and record all retailer comments and complaints to the Operation Manager.
Position Requirements
• Assist the Operation Manager to achieve the overall operation and financial target
• Assist the Operation Manager to continuously improve the operation and cost efficiency
• Establish monthly, quarterly and annual goals and KPI with each TSR, and evaluate at the end of each month
• Oversee the day to day activities of the TSRs
• Establish call lists and retailer order priorities with the TSR staff
• Manage the process of initiating retailer Tel Sell calls by telephone, analyze retailer feedback and provide information requested or ascertain who can best provide the information and route the request to the proper person
• Draft Tel-Sell scripts for Lottery review and approval
• Monitor Lottery ticket sales and take action to help maximize sales for each TSR
• Assist the Operation Manager with establishing goals, incentives and departmental promotions
• Report retailer information to management regarding all products and services experienced by the retailers
• Prepare and present reports and other documentation on a timely basis
• Train, explain tasks and assist in the solution of problems
• Review TSRs paperwork, including, but not limited to, daily call and phone activity reports
• Provide daily direction and feedback to ensure the ISRs have a good understanding of the job and current priorities
• Monitor Automated Call Distributor (ACD) daily and provide the feedback, communicate the areas that need to be improved and provide related training to the ISR staff on a weekly basis
• Provide monthly reports
• Implement key corporate initiatives as required
• Serve as a conduit between TSRs and the Lottery by quickly communicating to the Lottery any questions or problems encountered by ISRs to the appropriate parties at the Lottery
• Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the smooth coordination between the Tell Sell team and warehouse team
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years’ experience in tel-sell related role
• Experience with the Lottery is a plus
• 2+ years supervisory experience is a plus
Skills/Abilities:
• Proven tel-selling experience
• Good supervision skills
• Excellent computer skills including, but not limited to, "MS Office" applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint etc.)
• Good administrative skills and the ability to prioritize
• Detail and customer oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to remain tactful and diplomatic in difficult situations
• An understanding of the dynamics of selling in a retailer environment
• Basic math aptitude
• Ability to handle multiple task/project simultaneously
• Positive and self-motivated attitude and ability to work with others as a team
