THE ROLE:
We’re looking for…
A VP of Customer Engagement Marketing to lead customer communications and loyalty for the Rue La La and Gilt Groupe businesses. Our ideal candidate has at least 10 years of direct experience working at B2C brands in this capacity, with 5+ years in a leadership position.
What you’ll accomplish….
• Establish industry-leading customer relationship marketing programs utilizing a test and learn methodology to implement traditional and non-traditional methods of engaging and retaining customers.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive customer communications and lifecycle marketing strategy that encompasses email, push, SMS, and referral programs, increasing customer engagement and lifetime value.
• Lead quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop a deep understanding of customer value drivers across the Rue La La and Gilt Groupe businesses.
• Lead a team focused on driving consumer behaviors that maximize engagement and revenue generation.
• Generate and test new concepts and tactics that transform insight into action; scale successful pilots, and transfer to go-to-market initiatives.
• Define, launch and evolve loyalty, shipping and promotional programs that enhance customer engagement and profitability
• Provide a thorough, detailed and evolving understanding of customer profiles through research and analytics
• Establish strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in Marketing and across the organization.
• Serve as a key leader within the organization, leading and supporting cross-functional innovation teams.
THE RIGHT FIT:
You have…
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience setting and implementing strategies that maximize customer life-time value for B2C brands (5+ years in a leadership position); proficiency doing this in a start-up/hyper-growth environment a plus.
• Deep analytical expertise with experience leading problem solving and delivering customer insights. Background in strategy consulting or finance a plus.
• Track record of excelling in demanding and dynamic environments; a self-starter with the drive to make things happen.
• Strong relationship management skills with proven ability to influence and build advocacy for ideas at all levels of the organization.
• Experience developing processes to execute end-to-end marketing campaigns that both optimize tactics in the short-term and evolve capabilities over the long-term.
• Undergraduate degree from a top tier university; MBA preferred.
