Now, we’re looking for a talented Sales enablement leader who can help our sales force be more effective.
The Senior Director of Sales Enablement will oversee all aspects of our Sales Enablement organization, responsible to ensure the Field Sales organization is equipped with the right content, skill set and productivity tools to maximize sales growth and customer’s success. Sales Enablement solves business problems and opportunities with high impact solutions to drive productivity and development of the WW Field Sales Organization. You will have direct leadership experience working in large commercial and enterprise sales organizations who sell via channel partners, service providers, and system integrators. You will report to the Vice President, Global Sales Enablement & Marketing
Essential Functions
• Lead a global team that is focused on enabling both direct and indirect sales force on business outcomes that Veritas portfolio is poised to enable.
• Create the right enablement mix of face to face, virtual, self-consuming content
• Will be accountable to focus on moving the maturity of sales selling skills in key areas of growth to help them achieve their goals for the year
• Continue enhancing the onboarding program to make sure the time to productivity is shortened.
• Clearly communicate expectations to their team members and hold the team accountable for delivering business and operational efficiencies.
• Initiate, develop and manage strong partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels in the organization
• Drive continuous innovation in enablement programs and tools to enhance overall excellence across the sales and service field teams.
• Develop thought leadership within the Enablement and Improvement team to drive best practices for integration into the overarching strategy of building a world-class organization.
• Ensure strategic contribution to the functional new product launch process by developing required sales enablement tools/skill enhancement and positioning resulting in increased efficiency, productivity, improved quality and cost effectiveness.
• Oversee the development and implementation of training strategies, programs, and curriculum for the sales organization that increases salesforce productivity and performance globally.
• Deliver a blended learning model to include facilitator led (classroom), webinars, event based and self-paced training.
• Ensure the curriculum covers market, competition, company, products and services, sales processes, sales methodology, manager, coaching, sales tools and skills training.
• Incorporate training paths into HR and learning management applications.
Preferred Qualifications
• Extensive relevant Sales Enablement experience
• Strong team leadership expertise—guiding, developing, measuring and coaching others to highly successful performance, individually and as a team
• Excellent budget management
• Thrives in fast-paced, changing environments with the ability to drive progress and change
• Flexibility and a proven ability to work successfully in cross-functional environments to achieve results
• Strong presentation, writing and communication skills required
• Experience with high-tech companies; software background is a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Business or related discipline; a Master’s Degree a plus. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
