About the Role:
WeWork is seeking an Executive Assistant reporting directly to our VP, Growth for US & Canada West. The Executive Assistant will act as the prime liaison and strategic advisor to the VP, Growth and will support the global needs of WeWork’s rapidly growing business organization. You will be supporting all aspects of his/her daily needs including heavy calendar and email management as well as coordinating travel and expense reports. The Executive Assistant will work closely with the VP, Growth in leading and executing strategic initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work in tandem with the executive to set, manage and execute quarterly and annual business goals
• Provide information and advice regarding key strategic issues
• Act as primary liaison and communicator for internal initiatives
• Provide counsel and support to executive for external engagements
• Collaborate with administrative and executive team to plan and lead internal meetings, all hands and operational initiatives
• Advise on confidential projects involving sensitive business and financial information
• Ensure deliverables are actioned within deadlines
• Oversee and manage a wide variety of highly prioritized projects, as well as complete ad-hoc projects, requests, and analysis for a variety of investment related requests
• Provide organizational support, helping to ensure action items, deadlines, and deliverables are completed
• Organizing and managing a heavy calendar including travel arrangements (domestic & international)
• Prepare complex expense reports
• Collaborate with different department to ensure that any on-going projects and needs for the company are met as well as up to company standards
• Help solve and manage issues that may arise
• Screen and prioritize inbound emails and phone calls; draft responses as necessary
• Assist with events when needed
