Description
The Director of Enterprise Analytics is part of the Business Intelligence team at 1-800-Flowers.com, Inc., and primarily supports the Harry & David brand. This role manages a team of analysts who have a specific focus on the marketing analytics of our direct-to-consumer and business to business sales channels for Harry & David.

• Individual contributor who will also manager a team of 3+ Analysts/Data Scientists
• Manage reporting for Harry & David, including intra-day reporting during the key holiday selling season
• Collaborate with the brand's Marketing leaders on all post-mortem reports/analyses to generate customer insights
• Provide ongoing insights and recommendations derived through data analytics using visual dashboards
• Develop customer segmentations and provide list fulfillment for marketing campaigns, including both email and direct mail
• Develop advanced analytics solutions, such as propensity models and forecasting
• Identify issues through statistical methods, communicate options and implement solutions
• Review existing statistical models for fatigue and implement revised/new models
• Run statistical analyses and present findings utilizing visual dashboards and/or traditional tabular formats, as appropriate
• Execute and oversee all ad hoc and scheduled list pulls as requested
• Work closely with the broader enterprise analytics team, as well as web analytics and marketing
• Foster ongoing development of analytics team members and innovation of the marketing practice
• Plan, prioritize and direct analytics projects
• Thoroughly document all work
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• M.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Biostatistics, Machine Learning or similar quantitative field
• 5+ years of programming experience in Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide (SAS EG), SAS Macros, SAS EG, SAS Enterprise Miner, and SAS Visual Analytics
• Highly proficient in SAS Visual Analytics, Tableau or other visual analytics software
• Advanced coding skills using a combination of SQL, SAS, Python or R
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Technical expertise required --particularly experience with data analysis tools such as SAS, SQL, Tableau, Python
