Senior Director, eCP Finance and Workforce Planning

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Finance and Workforce Planning teams that support our Global Customer Operations (GCO) within our eCommerce Platform (eCP) team. As a Senior Director in one our key organizations, you will partner with the GCO team to deliver high quality financial reporting, planning, forecasting and strategic insight to the business. You will also lead the team that provides call center agent staffing forecast for more than 15,000 global call center agents for all Expedia Group. You will be responsible for leading a large team that will have financial oversight of Expedia Group's GCO organization and will be a member of both GCO and eCP Finance Leadership teams.
What you’ll do:
• Lead the quarterly and annual planning process for the GCO Finance organization along with the monthly Workforce Planning agent staffing forecasts
• Liaise with multiple partners within GCO and Brands to identify and drive efficiencies and gross profit improvements while keeping customer experience at optimal levels.
• Partner with the GCO Leadership Team to establish a strategy and vision for the Global Customer Operations Organization and deliver upon business objectives.
• Effectively lead a global team of direct and indirect reports, providing strategic leadership, coaching and development
• Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly or quarterly business reviews, highlighting key assumptions, trends, sensitivities, risks and opportunities.
• Build relationships and drive collaboration across Finance, the GCO organization and the rest of Expedia Group. Lead several large initiatives that expand these groups
• Support strategic initiatives and vendor contractor approvals through financial evaluation or business case preparation as appropriate
Who you are:
• 10+ years of experience in an analytical role with an emphasis in financial analysis and modeling.
• Strong background of building and leading successful finance teams.
• Previous experience leading international remote teams across multiple disciplines.
• Strong quantitative, analytical problem-solving skills
• Experience creating a vision and implementing process improvement and controls
• Comfortable in creating strong relationships with internal and external teams
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to build and communicate a vision.
• Ability to influence and drive leadership to decisions
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling critical. Consistent record of modeling complex data using spreadsheets and other tools
• Experience working with Oracle or Hyperion is a preferred
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a broad range of projects simultaneously and under deadline
• Demonstrated strong customer focus.
• Working knowledge of e-commerce and/or Customer Contact Center operations a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline. MBA or CPA preferred
