DESCRIPTION
Audible is a creative technology company that strives to find people that enjoy working in that type of environment. We are seeking a senior professional to develop and lead our learning & development and talent management efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and oversee implementation of global strategies for Learning & Development and Talent Management
• Learning & Development: leading the team responsible for providing employees across Audible with professional skills training and other learning experiences that will enable them to contribute and manage; obtaining insights from our employees, the business and key HR partners to direct efforts; identifying and implementing cutting-edge learning delivery technologies, tools and leveraging external learning partners/vendors as needed.
• Talent Management: leading the team in developing actionable strategies for talent identification, succession, career development and advancement; partnering with other HR teams to operationalize our global talent management processes including performance assessment and promotions and integrate them with Workday.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Undergraduate degree required
• Preferred certifications in the key areas of responsibility
• Proven track record of building best-in-class learning experiences, including front-line manager training
• Proven track record of designing and executing innovative talent management solutions
• Demonstrated success in managing a multi-functional team
• Ability to lead instructional designers in best practice, providing hands-on guidance as needed
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, facilitation and presentation skills with individuals at all levels, including executives
• Must be able to handle many projects and effectively deal with people to achieve optimal outcomes
• Proven strong collaborative and influencing skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable in a creative, fast-paced environment where ambiguity and complexity exists
• Passionate about the employee experience
• Experience in digital training i.e., apps, webinars, custom platforms
• Experience using Workday for talent management processes
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel
