DESCRIPTION
This Program Manager will work within the Consumer Talent Acquisition organization and will support Employer Branding for the entire Consumer business organization. You must be able to successfully communicate and partner with the recruiting organization, the business organization, human resources business partner organizations, and other diversity staff members across Amazon.
The successful candidate will have a track record for being exceptional with candidate experience. They possess strong organization, analytical, verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate push back and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done.
Immediate focus for the role would be on following key employer branding responsibilities to enable talent attraction:
Media Strategy: Design, implement, test, and scale paid advertising campaigns on social media channels and gradually double down on success on all key online advertising channels.
Amazon.jobs Content: Establish Amazon's employer brand presence throughout Amazon.jobs as a critical channel for informing the external market on who Amazon is and is not as an employer. Create dedicated career pages and content for Tech community, Diversity roles and Amazon Alumni.
Social & Digital Media: Operationalize scalable workflows in partnership with PR that help enable a proactive and current pipeline of relevant content. Maintain a consistent social & digital media content schedule to drive and keep an engaged external audience. Share content across all the decentralized social media recruiting sites, with additional focus on connecting the sites, sharing best practices, and building quality and consistency of messaging.
Design: Own localization of the employer brand style guide, refining how we use color, text, photography, and other visual elements to create a consistent brand across all media. Regularly refresh branding across all digital channels, including www.amazon.jobs, social media and job boards. Create print and digital marketing materials including but not limited to banner ads, social media posts, print advertisements, flyers, posters, and event materials.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Project Management and/or event coordination experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, build business cases, and measure product performance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Expert user in MS Office Suite
• Superb customer focus, attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
• Experience with Recruiting Systems, HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Strong decision-making ability
• Innovative and have great problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Must be able to think proactively; excellent follow-through and attention to details
• Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence, analytical and leadership skills essential to successful program/project management
• Ability to work independently and demonstrated excellent problem solving skills is a must
