Director of User Research & Analytics
As a Director of User Research for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, you work as part of the User Research & Analytics Team at the #1 enterprise platform in the world. Responsibilities:
• Manage a talented team of researchers and inspire them to create amazing products. Create an environment that brings out the best in your team.
• Nurture solutions to gain maximum impact from strategic and tactical research insights.
• Effectively critique research roadmaps and deliverables to help shape the definition of what successful research efforts look like.
• Be a strategic business partner to key executives, helping inform their long-term vision.
• Partner fully with product owners, designers and engineers to provide the best possible experience for our users and customers.
• Work within a fast-paced culture, requiring attention to detail and working within constrained timelines.
Minimum Requirements:
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in UX and research
• Experience leading, coaching, or managing individual contributors (ideally researchers)
• Ability to work confidently and creatively on ambiguous problems
• Experience working in cross-functional teams (e.g. design, product management, engineering)
• Proven track record influencing product direction and strategy with actionable insights
• Solid understanding of best practices for conducting research (qualitative and quantitative) in user experience, product design, or technology contexts
• Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills
• B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S. in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Sociology, Design, Business or a related degree
